Our Sporting Whanau.
Te Kauri marae has descendants that have accomplished a number of sporting achievements in Regional, National and International sports.
The marae wishes to acknowledge our whanaunga that accomplished their sporting involvments.
1. Andrew Berryman = NZ Kiwi League 1956 - 58.
2. Benny Berryman = NZ Maori Rugby League.
3. Patara (Butler) Berryman = Waikato Rugby League

4. Karaka (Clarke) Tarawhiti = Played for 1st XV Church College with the"Going" Boys that played for the All Blacks.

Coached Petone 1970-80with Kevin Tamati won eventually played for NZ Kiwi League.
