Welcome to
Te Kauri Marae

Step by Step...

Pai Marire Kia Tatou Katoa!!

Welcome to the year 2012, when changes for our marae and the direction of Te Kauri Marae are taking place. We now have our marae opened and ready for business, we are committed to Te Kauhanganui and fly the flag of our loyalty to Kingitanga and the new reign of our Maori King Te Ariki Kingi Tuheitia. The Korowai is a symbol of leadership and identity. We all have a korowai in our hearts and our minds lets cloak one another with love and support.

Step by step, whanau by whanau, we will be including you all - so start thinking each day about what you would like to contribute.  Remember - your today is tomorrows history.   Please contact the Website Team for more details.

Lest We Forget

LEST WE FORGET

The Te Kauri Marae War Memorial page dedicated to those whanau who fought so valiantly in such tough conditions.

Click on the images to hear the last post, the ode in Te Reo or see the relating photo galleries.

This is a work in progress and we could really use some help in combiling all the names and stories.
